![]() Well I haven't done the install yet either but I do have the 20gig Ipod same as you and will be putting it in the center console (thanks to those that have shown pictures on this board for the idea) but as far as what i am going to use is the blitzsafe. I am new to this board (though I hang out on some unrelated boards), and I just want you all to know that I think this board rocks! I already have read tons of GREAT ideas for things I want to do (including this iPod install). Thank you in advance for any input and suggestions. If it matters, my install will be in a 2004 MDX w/ Nav and wo/ RES and I will be using a 3rd generation 20G iPod (I am planning to do a stealth install in the armrest). So here's my question.įor those of you that have an iPod setup installed, which setup did you go with ICE-Link or Blitzsafe? Are you happy with it? What are the pros and cons (of the system you went with)? Which one do you recommend? Is there another setup that I haven't thought about? I'm not sure if this is because of availability, or overall choice. The Blitzsafe seems to be the more popular install of the two. The problem is, they are back ordered and I can't seem to find any other source for the unit other than directly from the manufacturer. So far the ICE-Link is my favorite (though it is close) because it maintains my ability to use most of the steering wheel audio controls. ![]() From what I can determine, it seems that the top two contenders are the ICE-Link and the Blitzsafe systems. I have read just about every thread I can find (here and elsewhere) on iPod MDX installs.
